As part of my end-of-studies project at the Jeanne Toussaint Institute, I designed and handmade a saddle bag that offers two volumes for carrying a variety of tools and documents.
The smaller volume is designed to hold A4 documents in a cubical fashion, while the bigger can hold A3 documents in a flattened shape.
The basic idea behind this bag was to create a functional and stylish solution for transporting items like camera gear or a computer or portfolio. It is made from thick, full grain vegetal tanned leather and features partially hand-stitched and riveted construction using vintage brass rivets.
The foldable bag is accompanied by a pocket book size rigid bag. This tiny bag can also be used alone as a hand bag or a tool box.
I am proud to present this saddle bag as the culmination of my studies at the Jeanne Toussaint Institute. It is a functional, stylish, and durable bag that is sure to be a useful addition to any creative’s toolkit.
